Hello, and welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.


My name is Laura Dix, and I created The Inner Compass Society as a space for women to find their way back to themselves. Life has a way of pulling us in so many directions relationships, careers, family, responsibilities and sometimes we lose sight of who we are underneath it all. My work is about guiding you gently back to that place of inner clarity, self-trust, and emotional strength.


I’m currently studying for my counselling degree, deepening my knowledge and skills so I can support you in the most compassionate and effective way possible. With over a decade of experience in running businesses and supporting women in different capacities, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be when someone has a safe space to be truly heard and understood.


The Inner Compass Society is an extension of that belief: that healing and growth happen when we feel seen, supported, and empowered to take the next step.

 

At The Inner Compass Society, I offer one-to-one support sessions, a space that is entirely yours. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, healing from trauma, managing anxiety, or simply feeling lost in the chaos of everyday life, these sessions are designed to help you untangle what feels heavy and find a sense of direction again.


I also integrate elements of nervous system awareness into my work helping you understand why your body and mind respond the way they do, and offering gentle ways to bring yourself back to balance. This approach helps you not only process what you’re going through but also build resilience for the future.


As my studies continue, I’m also creating resources and tools that will be available on this website guides, blogs, and reflections that will help you learn more about yourself, your emotions, and how to nurture your mental and emotional wellbeing.

 

I believe in compassion over judgment, curiosity over shame, and empowerment over fear. My work is rooted in the belief that you are not broken, even if you feel like you are. You don’t need to become someone new to be worthy of love, peace, or happiness you just need to reconnect with the version of you that’s already there, waiting quietly beneath the noise.


I also believe healing should feel safe, approachable, and deeply human. There’s no “one size fits all” in this journey. Whether you need a space to talk, tools to help regulate your emotions, or simply someone to sit with you in the difficult moments, my role is to meet you exactly where you are.
